Poryalma's mission is to empower and uplift children from underserved communities by providing essential resources such as nutritious food, clothing, and school supplies, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We envision a future where children from underserved communities—both locally and across Africa—are empowered to break free from the cycle of poverty and build brighter, more prosperous futures. By providing nutritious meals, clothing, school supplies, and emotional support, we aim to equip these children with the tools necessary for academic, social, and personal success. Through our efforts, we seek to foster a global community of equality, where all children can realize their full potential and contribute to the betterment of society.

We deeply understand the unique challenges faced by families with children in underserved communities, and our work is grounded in compassion and the desire to make a positive impact. We believe that every child deserves equal access to the resources and opportunities needed to succeed, regardless of their background. By fostering a strong sense of community, we create environments where children, families, and local organizations can come together to support one another and build a brighter future for all. Through these core values, we strive to uplift those we serve and create lasting change.

The motivation to create Poryalma stemmed from a deeply personal and heartbreaking experience. As the founder, I reached out to an organization that helps children, hoping they could support the families in my community by providing essential resources. Unfortunately, they informed me that they were already serving other areas and couldn't extend their help to my community. While I understood that many organizations face resource limitations, it left me with a sense of urgency and frustration. I realized that if help wasn’t readily available, I would have to be the one to make a difference. That moment sparked the creation of Poryalma—an organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting children and families in need. Through Poryalma, I aim to ensure that no child has to go without the essential resources they need to succeed, and to create a ripple effect of support that extends beyond my community, helping as many children as possible reach their full potential.
